This project highlights our work for Theresa Easbey Books, where we married engaging storytelling with polished web-design, and added a dynamic 3D animation layer for a memorable visitor experience. We built a WordPress-based platform that goes beyond a static author site — it supports book sales, events and author branding in both Canada and the U.S. From hero-animation to seamless responsiveness and a fully editable backend, this project embodies our “creative + strategic” approach: compelling to the eye, optimized for growth. Challenge & Solution

Theresa needed a site that reflects her identity as a children’s-book author while also appealing to educators, parents and literary event organisers. On top of that, we had a special requirement: incorporate 3D animation to bring the book’s themes and character world to life — without sacrificing page-speed or usability on mobile devices.

We crafted a custom WordPress theme with integrated 3D animation for the hero section, giving immediate visual impact. We structured the content around clear “About the Author,” “Books,” “Events & School Visits,” and “Media” pages, making navigation intuitive for varied audiences. Behind the scenes we optimised for performance (lazy-loading, compressed assets, mobile-first layout), and set up a scalable content model so new books and animations can be added easily. The result: a site that stands out, engages visitors, and gives Theresa a flexible platform for the future.

Our Process

We started with deep dives into Theresa’s vision, audience (kids, parents, educators), desired tone, and the 3D animation requirement.

We sketched wireframes to determine how the hero animation would integrate with site structure without dominating performance.

We designed the site’s look: a soft, child-friendly palette balanced with sophistication to reach educational/retail markets.
